Dr. Rohit Chakor is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specialized in minimally invasive surgery, trained in Germany with the recent techniques for Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy. Working as a Consultant for Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgery at Inamdar Hospital, Manipal Hospital (previously Columbia Asia Hospital), Vishwaraj Hospital, as well as associated with many renowned hospitals in Pune, he is an expert in the treatment of all types of fractures including complex fractures along with the sports injuries and joint problems.
Trained with the most renown and Senior Orthopaedic Surgeons in Pune, he has a vast experience in Deformity correction, Joint Replacement Surgery, Sports injuries and Arthroscopy as well as Paediatric Orthopaedics. With an Orthopaedic practice from last 10 years, he has successfully performed numerous surgeries and treated his patients very well.
He has been trained at one of the Best centers of Orthopaedics in Europe, OCM Klinik in Munich, Germany, where the newest technique in Joint replacement using a Minimally Invasive approach (OCM approach) is developed. Numerous surgeries have been performed using the minimally invasive approach with great results by him. He is also academically sound with attachment as an Associate Professor in Orthopaedics teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and paraclinical staff. He has attended many workshops and conferences on Orthopaedics across India and has been a Life Member of the Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association & the Indian Medical Association.
He has done a research thesis on Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty in a Single sitting and has published this work in National & International Journals. There are more research publications to come as he is inclined towards research and publications.
